CES always new awesome TV’s to offer.  This is one of the highlights – the LG Nano LM9600.  It has an incredibly thin bezel of only 5mm so it looks amazingly clean straight on as well as the profile.  3D Cinema, Smart TV, Nano LED technology (up to 480hz motion and local dimming), aaaaannnd 2D to 3D upconversion.  It looks awesome.

Sporting an Apple-like monolithic design and gobs of high technology, the Sony Bravia NX800 HDTV ($2,300-$3,500; March 2010) is one of the Japanese electronics giant's sexiest yet. Features include a full HD 1080p, edge LED-backlit LCD screen in either 46-, 52-, or 60-inch sizes, Motionflow 240Hz technology for smooth on-screen motion, integrated Wi-Fi, and ambient light sensor, Sony's Bravia Internet Video and Internet Widgets, the Bravia Engine 3 video processor, and both USB and DLNA support for photos, music, and video playback.

LED isn’t really new technology, its just a smart use of existing technology.  Instead of lighting the same LCD screen with fluorescent lights and diffusing it (so that it is evenly lit), Samsung uses a big Lite Brite surface with all white lights.  This makes the TV more energy efficient and thinner too.  This is not however OLED which is much cooler technology, even thinner and brighter with greater color saturation.  The only OLED TV on the market today is the $2500 is the Sony XEL-1.  Still its an awesome TV and pretty good price too.
