This is the first time I have been able to use umlauts in a post title.  Index that Google!  Günther Levi is a sensation in Sweeden and I can really see why.  There is so much lip gloss, black clothing and lyrics that it truly puts him at the top of the music game.  It’s funny and bad and so much so that its good.  Feel free to check out the video below and why not listen to the whole album in the link below.  Music that is party worthy for sure.

What do you get when you have a lot of time on your hands, have an extra Wii Nunchuck and a KORG Monotron?  You utilize the motion capabilities of the chuck to control part of the wave form and the joystick to change other properties.  This thing is really cool and could give Nintendo some cool ideas for synth mapping games for the Wii!  Check out the video!

Turns out they are on tour and since I didn’t catch them the last time I thought it would be cool to catch them.  Pretty cheap show and I must say for a very stylized group that I took as more of a fad at first – I think they still have lasting relevance and a collection of pretty good music.  Prepare yourself for loads of reverb, distortion and plenty of Wah pedal action.

Sweet little effects processor for production or DJ use.  Being able to actually drag your finger to utilize the effects does make it more interesting than just tweaking a knob, and a little more fun too.  I have a video below of this thing in action and it is really cool.  This is also on sale at Amazon, linked below.

Now I really consider this technically cheating because with real turntables you can’t visualize the waveform anywhere except your head.  So to simplify and to make it look cool Attigo has made a touchscreen interface to actually mix/scratch and do everything else with waveforms with sounds that simulate a real turntable.  So check out the video it’s pretty awesome.

I have been geeking out on a lot of instrument mods and beat machine stuff lately and I can say this will be one of a few items that I have found.  A sweet mod to your guitar to play with time/delay effects in real time creatively with a touchpad.  This is really starting to bridge that gap of floor pedal mods that can do neat things but just aren’t quite technical enough to be expressive.  Watch the video – he’s not fantastic at guitar but he can sure make it sounds awesome.
