485 HP. That’s the Nissan GT-R engine stuffed into a Juke. I commonly refer to this car as the Puke for aesthetic reasons, however, with that much power I am considering otherwise. Black rims, black everything but it’s only a one off car.

While your eyes might sparkle at this badass-mobile I wish I could say they are bringing it stateside. The paint job is called “Ultimate Black Opal” which reflects colored hues against a dark base. The car specs are pretty impressive too. Bigger turbos with a boost controller, carbon fiber replacing a lot of interior and exterior components, titanium exhaust, reworked suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and 20-inch (510 mm) NISMO wheels. They also managed to get the weight down 130lbs (I assume due to the carbon fiber-ing). If you want it in Japan you have to pay a cool $160,000 USD for it!

3D printing has been out for a while but they keep getting better and better at it. Now I think is the hilt of 3D printing – introducing the 3D printed vehicle. Yes, this aerodynamic vehicle which is a gas/ethanol hybrid gets up to 200mpg and was designed for the 2010 X-Prize competition by Stratasys and Kor Ecologic. Since FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) eliminates the need for tooling, machining and handwork it creates a huge amount of efficiency for getting a prototype out.  Since it requires no people work we can expect to take some parts manufacturing back from China…well I don’t know about that.

So what does a sexy sports car look like?  This.  What does a fast hybrid look like?  This as well.  The future of mid life crisis hippie car indulgences will probably end up being this vehicle.  Equipped with a small gasoline engine that’s only duty is to charge the battery that propels this eco-chic hybrid.  Not even as close to as boring as a Prius, this car goes from 0-60 in 5.8 and can achieve speeds of over 125.  Also equipped with a solar panel roof for when the 2009 specs of 100mpg just weren’t efficient enough.  It would still gross me out to hear the phrase “hot hybrid” being tossed around.  Eww.

Why just take a car an armor it when you can have one constructed for one purpose from the ground up?  This vehicle is constructed from the latest in armoring materials, a big Ford 6.8L V10 and a little love.  Maybe no love, for the haters that is.  Built on a modded F-550 chassis and equipped with whatever you need bullet proofed, this 19,500lb beast could pretty much take you through a war zone if necessary.  While it will probably be purchased by mob bosses and drug lords, it’s available for anyone with approx $300K and a lust for luxury.  Make a statement in your neck of the woods by skipping the Maybach and going for the most elite armored vehicle on the planet.

Cosworth has a long standing history in F1 racing and they have decided to donate some heritage, technology and FIRE to the Impreza.  They gave the STI some bigger brakes, some suspension tuning and a whopping 395 HP.  It’s called the Impreza STI CS400 but unfortunately you probably won’t give a damn, because you’ll never see one of these limited edition (only 75 being made) right-drive only badass machines.

The British performance motorsports manufacturer Lee Noble has officially revealed the look of their latest project, the Fenix Supercar.  The Fenix Supercar will feature its own aggressive body and interior design wrapped around a Corvette ZR1 engine or the slightly smaller GM LS3 V8.  The GM LS3 V8 will give the Fenix Supercar a 480 horsepower heartbeat, while the famed Corvette ZR1’s LS9 V8 will push an even speedier 638 horsepower– the latter capable of zero to 100 mph in under 7 seconds.  While official pictures have yet to hit, these renderings will have to do for those hungry enough to add one to their stable.  It’ll be priced at around $120,000 when it hits the road closer to the end of 2010.

Because you couldn’t get your Black DBS or V-12 Vantage black enough.  Special metallic black paint makes this car look different in different lighting conditions.  Carbon and Kevlar seats set off the inside along with piano gloss black dash and more.  Mmmmm…
