I knew black stood for exclusivity but a $6000 watermelon? Really? Apparently in Japan watermelons are really rare since they are big, heavy and don’t grow around Japan in any frequency. The “Densuke” is only grown on the north island of Hokkaido but have actually been spotted stateside in Oregon. Someone said they taste better but for being 100X the price of a regular one, it better taste awesome.
