This is a really unique and great preamp for your home studio. Based on the classic Bill Putnam 610 mic pre, the vintage sound used on many classic recordings can now be had by all for a really good price. It also features a Teletronix LA-2A-style T4 Opto-Compressor which is easy to dial in a great sound without any rocket science knowledge. New MKII features gives True Bypass, Larger Metering, and Improved Signal Bypass. I have the silver MKI but now it comes in black-on-black…mmmmmmm.
